What is this about?

INNOV launches Les Midis J’INNOV, a series of webinars designed to make scientific and applied knowledge more accessible to businesses, organizations, public institutions, students and the general public.

This initiative, funded by Canadian Heritageis part of a clear commitment to promote the dissemination of knowledge in French, and to build more bridges between research, innovation and local needs.

An initiative aligned with INNOV’s mission

Applied research is not limited to laboratories, technical projects or collaborations with companies. It also plays an essential role in the circulation of knowledge.

Through its innovation and applied research centers, INNOV contributes to the development of organizations and communities by making expertise more accessible, more concrete and more directly usable.

The Midis J’INNOV are part of this mission. They provide a forum for popularization, discussion and knowledge transfer on a variety of themes: environment, technologies, artificial intelligence, forestry, entrepreneurship, agriculture, agri-food processing, advanced manufacturing, innovative materials and many other topics related to economic, social and technological transformations.

Webinars to bring together research, the field and the community

Each webinar offers an opportunity to gain a better understanding of a current issue through the expertise of researchers, professionals and partners from a variety of backgrounds.

The aim is to make this content accessible, without reserving it for specialists only. The Midis J’INNOV are aimed at companies wishing to better understand certain innovations, as well as municipalities, organizations, institutional partners, students and citizens interested in the issues addressed.

By offering a regular online event, INNOV aims to facilitate access to information, encourage exchanges and contribute to a better understanding of scientific knowledge in French.

An evolving program

Midis J’INNOV are organized around thematic cycles that explore different topics over the months. This approach makes it possible to tackle the same issue from several complementary angles, highlighting a variety of expertise and concrete applications.

The series is designed to evolve with the needs of the community, ongoing collaborations and emerging priorities. It is thus a durable dissemination tool that will continue to enrich exchanges between applied research, organizations and communities.

Contributing to the scientific vitality of the French-speaking world

By supporting this initiative, Canadian Heritage is helping to strengthen the place of French in the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge.

For INNOV and CCNB, this initiative is part of a broader commitment to the vitality of francophone communities, regional economic development and knowledge sharing.

The Midis J’INNOV are more than just a series of webinars: they become a meeting place for ideas, expertise and needs in the field.
